Regional Sales Manager in transportation company
Location: Kiev, Ukraine
An international transportation company with offices in England, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Sweden and Russia, is going to open office in Ukraine, and is looking for a Regional Sales Manager with relevant experience.
Job description:
■ Actively undertake new Business development initiatives in line with the company strategy
■ Agree upon and meet sales objective including rapidly signing up new business
■ Generate sales leads by networking, prospecting and building strategic relationships
■ Ensure high level of customer service and satisfaction at all times
■ Full commercial autonomy to develop and manage the business across the region
■ Develop region — wide pricing/revenue strategies together with management at HO
■ Proactively market and promote the company and take an entrepreneurial view to seek new business opportunities
■ Provide leads for other divisions in the Company
■ Work closely with the operational and customer service teams to develop new potentials and to devise strategic approaches to the market;
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years proven track record of sales in transportation by road or sea, freight forwarding to and from CIS countries.
- Proven knowledge of local markets with an ability to quickly (within 3 months) bring on work for approximately 150 loads per month, from EU to CIS.
- Loads from the first hands with competitive prices in the market.
- Competitive payment terms (at least market average)
- Experience of B2B sales on a senior level
- Ideally university degree, adequate experience and track record is equally valid
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Fluent in Russian, Ukrainian, English language. (Other languages will be an advantage)
- Energetic, fast learner, team player, initiative, positive attitude, flexibility and quick thinking.
- To be well-organized and thorough, even under pressure.
